ArmInfo. The Armenian Foreign Ministry does not have any information about the possible mutual visits of Armenian and Azerbaijani lawmakers.
So, in an interview with ArmInfo, the Armenian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Anna Naghdalyan emphasized that the foreign ministry did not have any information on this issue.
Earlier, a number of Armenian media outlets disseminated information that allegedly after the successful implementation of the journalistic exchange initiative, an exchange between the deputies was being prepared, however, most likely, a veto on the visit of Naira Zohrabyan to Baku due to harsh criticism of Azerbaijan would be imposed. Naira Zohrabyan, a deputy of the National Assembly from the Prosperous Armenia faction, reacted to this publication, who expressed her conviction that if such an initiative does, then the veto of Azerbaijan will not be taken into account. "I think when this issue is included in the agenda, our foreign policy department will not give a damn about the veto. I'll say that it's very funny," Zohrabyan wrote on her Facebook page.
It should be noted that on November 17-21, the media representatives of Armenia and Nagorno-Karabakh visited Azerbaijan, and media representatives from Azerbaijan visited Armenia and Artsakh. The visit was held in complete secrecy, and the information was provided only upon the return of the journalists. The event was organized by the office of the Personal Representative of the OSCE Chairman-in-Office.
