ArmInfo. The State Revenue Committee of Armenia warns that the agreement on leasing by the agency of areas for customs clearance of cars in the Noragavit district of Yerevan will not be extended. This was announced on November 25 by the press service of the SRC.
According to the source, upon expiration of the agreement, the customs authorities will not provide any services in the area. The Committee calls on the owners of vehicles still in the area to clear them as soon as possible and to leave the customs control zone. Otherwise, after the lease expires, the customs authorities do not guarantee maintenance of vehicles left in the zone after the expiration of the term. And vehicles subject to customs control will be moved to another customs territory.
The State Revenue Committee calls on car owners to register their vehicles for customs clearance at the Foreign Economic Service Center at Gyumri city as soon as possible.
It should be noted that the customs clearance of cars imported into Armenia after November 25 will be carried out in the newly built Center for Foreign Economic Affairs in Gyumri, located at 2/14 Tbilissi Highway. Since November 25, the function of customs clearance of vehicles has been completely transferred to Gyumri.
