ArmInfo.The Center for Crisis Response of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) has entered the system of interagency cooperation under the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation. Head of the Russian military department, Army General Sergey Shoigu, announced this reports TASS.
"It is important to note that information exchange has been established with the CSTO Crisis Response Center, as well as with the central command posts of Belarus and Kazakhstan," said Shoigu, opening the 5th scientific-practical conference on interagency and informational interaction in solving defense problems.
He emphasized that friends and allies on the CSTO joined this work for the first time. "This indicates that the areas of our work are steadily expanding," said the head of the Ministry of Defense. According to him, over the past five years, the regulatory framework of the system of interagency cooperation has been improved.
<A technological infrastructure has been created that brings together 55 ministries and departments. An effective system of relations with the subjects of the Russian Federation has been built. This is confirmed annually in the course of strategic command post exercises, in which all regions of the country are involved>, the minister emphasized.
Shoigu also said that much attention is paid to the implementation of the state armament program. "Together with concerns and joint corporations, daily monitoring of the execution of the state defense order is being carried out," the head of the military department said.
