ArmInfo. The FAF fan movement (First Armenian Front / FAF ultras / ") of the Armenian national team fans presented the details of the meeting with the President of the Football Federation of Armenia Arthur Vanetsyan, which was held on November 21.
According to the report, the events, atmosphere and internal disagreements in Armenian football over the past three months have had a direct impact on the performance of the Armenian team, the climax of which was the Italy-Armenia match.
"We consider it untimely to find those guilty of internal disagreements between members of the FFA executive committee and Arthur Vanetsyan, however, it is obvious that the conflict is causing continued damage to Armenian football. Given the above, we believe that Arthur Vanetsyan and members of the executive committee should resign.
It is extremely important to filter the composition of the FFA meeting, since the prevailing part of 35 public organizations registered in it are of unknown origin, part does not function at all and has a symbolic character, and also ended up on the Council thanks to the "light hand" of ex-FFA head Ruben Hayrapetryan, " the statement said.
In addition, according to the FAF, politicians, club owners, and people not related to football should also not be members of the FFA Executive Committee. "During a meeting with members of the FAF fan movement, Arthur Vanetsyan said he was ready to resign if the entire composition of the executive committee resigned, as well as members of the FFA Founders Meeting," the FAF statement said.
To recall, a meeting of the Executive Committee of the Football Federation of Armenia (FFA) is held in Yerevan. According to media reports, this could be a harbinger of the resignation of ex-head of the NSS of the Republic of Armenia Artur Vanetsyan from the post of chairman of the FFA. Even the day before, the media reported that the meeting could be a turning point on the issue of Vanetsyan's resignation, since, allegedly, members of the executive committee were going to express a vote of no confidence in the FFA head. It is noted that the executive committee does not have the authority to remove the president of the federation, but has the right to convene a general meeting and raise this question on it.
