ArmInfo. Under the chairmanship of the Deputy Prime Minister of Armenia Mher Grigoryan, a regular meeting of the Council of the Eurasian Economic Commission was held in Moscow.
As the press service of the Government of Armenia reported to ArmInfo, more than 30 issues related to the sectors of foreign trade, financial, industrial, integration policy, customs, tariff and technical regulation, digitalization of the economy were submitted for discussion.
The members of the commission's council discussed, including issues planned for consideration by the heads of state in December 2019, approved the agenda of the meeting of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Union. In addition, the implementation of regulations of the Eurasian Economic Union was discussed. Among the most important was the development of approaches to the implementation of initiatives and projects in accordance with the digital agenda, the use of special regimes ("regulatory sandboxes") in the Union; preparation of a document defining strategic directions for the development of Eurasian economic integration until 2025; progress on eliminating obstacles in the EAEU domestic market; on the implementation of liberalization plans for individual service sectors within the EAEU; on the map of the industrialization of the EAEU and others.
