According to the Prime Minister's press service, before discussing agenda items, Nikol Pashinyan touched on structural changes in the military-industrial complex. The head of government recalled that significant changes had occurred in connection with the military-industrial complex, in particular, the jurisdiction of the Military-Industrial Committee was changed, and it was transferred from the Ministry of Defense to the Ministry of High-Tech Industry. "Taking this opportunity, I want to thank the Ministry of Defense for the work done during this time and for its contribution. I want to wish success to the Ministry of High-Tech Industry and the head of the Military-Industrial Committee and express hope that these structural changes will help us achieve significant changes and changes in this strategically important area on the basis of the results already achieved and the work done, as the development of this area is very important, and, of course, there is no need to explain its importance, "he said.
Then the Minister of High-Tech Industry Hakob Arshakyan made a report. Issues related to the development of the military-industrial complex and the formation of a practical connection between science, technology and the military industry were discussed. The list of state orders for special research and development work for 2020 was approved.
