ArmInfo. On November 6, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan received the MPs of the "Homeland" parliamentary faction in the Artsakh Republic, headed by leader of  the "Free Homeland" party Arayik Harutyunyan.

According to the Prime Minister's press service, Pashinyan noted the  importance of holding meetings in a similar format, stressing that  meetings with the parliamentary factions of the Artsakh legislative  body will be continuous. "This is a very good reason to record,  summarize the events that have taken place in relations with Artsakh  over the past year and a half," he said.

The prime minister touched on the financial and economic part of  cooperation. The first, perhaps the most important issue, as he  pointed out, is the restructuring of the interstate loan provided by  Armenia to Artsakh. "We reached an agreement even when Mr.  Harutyunyan was the Minister of State of Artsakh.  This is a very  important decision that is being de facto implemented. That is, by a  political decision, we fixed that we should restructure these funds.  Our government together with the Artsakh government adopted the  political decision that it was better to remain in circulation in the  Republic of Artsakh, " Nikol Pashinyan said.

The head of the Armenian government also noted the importance of the  decision of the Cabinet of Ministers of the republic on the  allocation of an additional 2.1 billion drams ($ 4.2 million) to  improve the conditions of combat duty of military personnel in combat  positions. According to him, a decision was made to purchase 10  ambulances for Artsakh, at this stage the project was also put into  circulation, and decisions were made to provide 2.9 billion drams to  solve housing issues for the Artsakh military.

During the meeting, issues of cooperation between governments,  parliaments of the two Armenian states, cooperation in various  fields, as well as concerning the stimulation of various sectors of  the economy of Armenia and Artsakh were discussed.  Nikol Pashinyan  touched on the process of settlement of the Karabakh conflict, the  work carried out in the direction of army construction.  Arayik  Harutyunyan thanked the Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia for  the meeting and touched upon the upcoming plans of the Free Homeland  party.  The delegation led by Arayik Harutyunyan was also received by  Speaker of the Armenian parliament Ararat Mirzoyan. Noting that  presidential elections are expected in Artsakh next year, Mirzoyan  noted the importance of holding extremely transparent, free, fair and  competitive elections. "And, as they say, let the one who gets the  maximum number of votes of Artsakh voters win, and we will  unequivocally support Artsakh in this matter, stand next to Artsakh,"  he said.
