Head of Ministry of Justice called on law enforcement to be careful  and prudent in the investigation of sensitive matters

ArmInfo. Any suspicion of a crime  should be properly investigated, while at the same time, law  enforcement agencies should exercise sufficient caution and prudence  in such matters. Minister of Justice Rustam Badasyan announced this  on the sidelines of the <Transparency of Real Owners> forum in an  interview with reporters, answering a question about calling the  former speaker of the parliament, doctor Ara Babloyan for  questioning, right in the middle of the surgery.

<We need to follow up on further reports, an investigation is  underway, and any circumstance that is considered clarified at this  stage may change. I can't give other comments on this criminal case,  since an investigation is underway>, he said.

In criminal cases brought against the deputy head of the National  Assembly Arsen Babayan and the President of the Constitutional Court,  Hrayr Tovmasyan, the head of the department said that this was a  matter of law enforcement agencies, at the same time urging to wait  for the results of the investigation in the criminal case on  usurpation of power.

Touching upon the refusal of the penitentiary service and the  possibility of a probationary regime on the application for early  release of the life sentenced in the case of "October 27" Nairi  Hunanyan, the Minister of Justice noted: "They assessed within the  framework of their functions and gave a negative opinion>. He also  said that he had not met with Nairi and Karen Hunanyan, moreover, the  minister has no desire to do this.

According to Badasyan, if Nairi Hunanyan can provide valuable  information, this should be of interest to law enforcement agencies,  not him.  Touching upon the statement of the National Assembly  MPArman Babajanyan that the chairman of the Public Council, Vazgen  Manukyan, prompted Nairi Hunanyan to carry out the killings, Badasyan  again replied that it was a matter of law enforcement agencies.

Earlier the National Assembly MP Arman Babajanyan send a letter to  the Prime Minister of the country Nikol Pashinyan and demanded to  dismiss Vazgen Manukyan.  The day before, in a conversation with  factor.am, the MP explained why he had come up with a similar  initiative a few days after the meeting with Nairi Hunanyan, noting  that during the conversation with Hunanyan there were several  references to the name of Vazgen Manukyan.  <Vazgen Manukyan played  an important role in the intent of Nairi Hunanyan. I can't say  whether he directed him to such a crime, but I'm sure that his  desires were outlined in some way, which led to the crime. Those  formulations regarding possible political developments, that if there  had been no terrorist attack planned by Nairi Hunanyan, in what bad  condition Armenia would have been, I believe that during this period,  for personal reasons, Vazgen Manukyan planned a political vendetta  and considered his main opponent is Vazgen Sargsyan>, said Arman  Babajanyan, noting that in addition to Vazgen Manukyan, other persons  participated in the formation of the crime committed by Nairi  Hunanyan. These people played an important role through their advice  and political analysis, however, Babajanyan refused to give their  names.
