ArmInfo. The military prosecutor's office of Armenia summed up the results of activities for the past 9 months of this year.
According to the report of the Prosecutor General's Office, received by ArmInfo, for the indicated period, 262 studies were conducted by various structures of the military prosecutor's office, while violations were discovered in 144 cases. "Violations were mainly detected in the areas of logistics, arms, capital construction and deployment of troops, military-medical and other services. Criminal cases were opened on the revealed facts," the Prosecutor General's Office said, noting that within the framework of the criminal cases tangible results have been achieved in the field of identifying and restoring damage to the state in the Armed Forces.
The Prosecutor General's Office noted that in the reporting period, the revealed damage to the state amounted to 9.9 billion drams, and compared with the same period last year, it was 27.5 times more. "398 mln drams have been restored, which is 6 times higher than in the 9 months of 2018," the Prosecutor General said.
The ministry also reported that during the first 9 months of this year, the Department for the Protection of State Interests of the Military Prosecutor's Office of the Republic of Armenia and the Garrison Military Prosecutor's Office filed 5 lawsuits totaling 10.1 million drams, with a proposal to restore the state compensation for damage within a reasonable amount of 9, 7 million drams.
