ArmInfo.On October 23, Yerevan hosted the annual meeting of the Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Armenia T. Urazaev with the heads of the leading Armenian media.
The head of the Kazakh diplomatic mission briefly acquainted those present with the main domestic political events in Kazakhstan, with the events that took place at foreign political venues, as well as with the state of bilateral relations, including cooperation between Kazakhstan and Armenia in such regional organizations as the CIS, EEA and CSTO in the current period. The Ambassador paid special attention to the presidential elections held in June and the first September Message from the President of Kazakhstan K. Tokaev: "Constructive public dialogue - the basis of stability and prosperity of Kazakhstan".
In this context, the meeting participants were acquainted with some provisions of this document, a kind of large-scale program for the further socio-economic development of Kazakhstan.
For their part, representatives of the Armenian media noted that the President's Address contains a timely and systematic approach to solving urgent problems facing modern Kazakhstan. The peculiarity of this document, in their opinion, is the readiness of the authorities through a constructive dialogue to mobilize the population for action for the benefit of the common cause - the planned and effective development of the state. The heads of leading media outlets also spoke about the features of the country's information policy and the priority areas of their activities. It was proposed to expand cooperation with the Kazakhstani media in terms of announcing significant events for the socio-political and expert circles of Kazakhstan and Armenia, establishing channels for mutual and reliable information, as well as continuing the practice of organizing press tours to Kazakhstan on various topics.
At the end of the meeting, the Ambassador congratulated Armenian journalists on their professional holiday, the Day of Armenian Press, on October 16 and expressed gratitude to them for their constant interest in the events in the country and the activities of the embassy. For active work in strengthening the Kazakh-Armenian cooperation, the Embassy's information partners were awarded letters of appreciation and souvenirs on behalf of the head of the foreign institution.
The meeting participants agreed to continue constructive cooperation in reporting on events that meets bilateral interests.
