The program to restore the reserves of Ishkhan (Armenian Salmon) in  Lake Sevan "ate" 2 billion drams: a criminal case raised

ArmInfo.As part of the program to restore the stocks of ishkhan (Sevan trout) in Sevan, the state suffered damage in the amount of 2 billion drams. This was  reported by the General Prosecutor's Office, referring to the results  of the control measures carried out in the Fund for the restoration  of stocks of Sevan Ishkhan and the development of fish farming, as  well as in established fish breeding enterprises - ZAO Sevan Ishkhan  and Sevan Aqua>.

It turned out that in 2013-2018. About 9 billion drams were allocated  from the budget for the needs of the Fund and the above-mentioned  organizations, some of which were assigned through various schemes.  In particular, over 733 million drams were spent on the construction  of a processing plant in the Karchakhpyur community, according to the  agreement concluded between Sevan  Ishkhan CJSC and another company,  however, in fact, the construction work was not completed, and since  2016 this unfinished building not used. In addition, through  falsification of documents and abuse of power, ZAO Sevan Ishkhan and  Sevan Aqua in 2014-2019.  appropriated over 1 billion drams of budget  funds and caused damage to the state in the order of 1.3 billion  drams.

A criminal case has been opened on the grounds of clause 1 of part 3  of article 179 of the RA Criminal Code, part 2 of article 214 of the  RA Criminal Code and part 2 of article 325 of the RA Criminal Code.  To conduct a preliminary investigation, the case was sent to the  Investigative Committee.
