ArmInfo. Under the chairmanship of the Prime Minister of Armenia, Nikol Pashinyan, a pre-scheduled extraordinary meeting of the Security Council of Armenia is taking place today, October 18.
According to the Prime Minister's press service, Pashinyan, welcoming those present, said: "The meeting was coincided with the rapid development of events in the region, and today we will hold discussions, including on them."
As the prime minister pointed out, an exchange of views will also take place on the held international contacts and on the situation around the peaceful settlement of the Artsakh issue. "The meetings of the Security Council are very important, because in the context of our security issues we also make economic and political decisions. I am convinced that the decisions we make today will serve the security of our country and further increase our welfare," said Nikol Pashinyan.
