ArmInfo. The head of the parliamentary defense and security commission, MP from the My Step bloc, Andranik Kocharyan, during the commission's meeting, said that  on October 17 at 14:00 the Advisor to the Prime Minister of Armenia  Arshak Karapetyan will be invited to the commission to investigate  the events of the April war.

It should be noted that during the April war of 2016 Arshak  Karapetyan held the post of head of the intelligence department of  the General Staff of the Armenian Armed Forces. Almost immediately  after the suspension of the hostilities phase in April 2016, the  latter was removed from office.

However, after a year and a half, Karapetyan was appointed to the  post of military attache at the Armenian Embassy in Russia. After the  2018 revolution, he was appointed adviser to the Prime Minister of  Armenia, Nikol Pashinyan.
