ArmInfo.David Ananyan, Chairman of the State Revenue Committee, does not believe that Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan is dissatisfied with his work as the chief tax specialist. "At least the remarks, complaints and suggestions voiced by the head of the government concerned the activities of the SRC and not me personally," Ananyan said at a press conference on October 16.
According to Ananyan, any structure, no matter how efficiently it functions, has the opportunity to improve its performance. And the prime minister's dissatisfaction, in this case, motivates the dissatisfaction of the Prime Minister.
At the same time, David Ananyan is ready to resign in case of dissatisfaction with him personally. "If such a situation develops and there is a person who will work more efficiently, I will certainly resign. In general, there are no irreplaceable people," Ananyan said.
It should be noted that David Ananyan headed the SRC in May 2018. Previously, from 2016 to 2018, he served as Deputy Minister of Finance, where he oversaw the country's tax policy.
