In cooperation with ACBA-Credit Agricole Bank, Hayastan All-Armenian  Fund launched a website for online donations

ArmInfo.Hayastan All-Armenian Fund launched a website working on new technologies and innovative solutions, through which online donations will be carried  out mainly through the electronic POS-terminals of ACBA-Credit  Agricole Bank. This is stated in the official statement of the Bank.

''We are very pleased to transfer the new initiative of the Hayastan  All-Armenian Fund into the online space. This is consonant with our  policy and makes our partnership more effective. In particular, all  payments will be mainly made through our electronic mailboxes. I  should note that today the Bank services the largest number of  POS-terminals in Armenia. Remaining true to our policy, we will  transfer all commission payments received by us to a joint account  with the Fund, where the disposal of funds is carried out by joint  agreement. It is also encouraging that the programs being implemented  through the new website will be more transparent, more manageable.  Also, our clients will have the opportunity to see what charity they  perform, and when making any payments with our ''Visa Benefactor  "cards, the client automatically becomes a philanthropist," Arsen  Melkonyan, Deputy Executive Director of ACBA-Credit Agricole Bank for  Coordination of Business Functions, said.

At the same time, he emphasized that the client does not pay any  additional amount, but pays only for a specific product or service,  and the Bank is already transferring a certain part of its income to  the joint account of the Hayastan All-Armenian Fund, through which  programs are subsequently implemented.  "This is an initiative that  enables everyone to become part of a charitable mission," he said.   In turn, the Executive Director of the Fund Haykak Arshamyan,  expressing gratitude to the partner ACBA- Credit Agricole Bank,  recalled that as a result of the joint cooperation, the first Visa  Benefactor card was issued in Armenia, due to which a number of  charity programs were implemented.  He noted that at present, when  making any donations on the website of the Hayastan All-Armenian  Fund, with Visa, Mastercard, American Express and ARCA of ACBA-Credit  Agricole Bank, the Bank will transfer funds from its income to the  special account of "Visa Barerar''. "I hope that in this format we  will be able to accumulate enough funds and implement a number of  charity programs," Arshamyan noted.  According to the source, the  cooperation of ACBA-Credit Agricole Bank and the Hayastan  All-Armenian Fund started in 2012, with the release of the Visa  Benefactor card.

To recall, ACBA-Credit Agricole Bank, Hayastan All-Armenian Fund and  VISA announced the release of the VISA Benefactor card at the end of  2012. The issue of this card was dedicated to the 20th anniversary of  the Hayastan All-Armenian Fund. The aim of the project is to raise  funds to provide financial assistance to children from orphanages in  Armenia. Having become a holder of the VISA Benefactor card, those  who wish receive the opportunity to make regular charitable  contributions to the Hayastan All-Armenian Fund at no additional  cost. To do this, you must pay by card daily purchases. 0.3% of each  card payment transaction and 50% of the annual card maintenance fee  are transferred to the Fund. In addition, VISA Benefactor holders may  make additional contributions. The card can be issued both at the  initiative of the holder, and as part of the bank's salary projects.  In order to attract as many people as possible to the project, VISA  Benefactor salary cards are serviced by the bank for free throughout  the life of the salary project.  ACBA-Credit Agricole Bank CJSC has  been operating in Armenia since 1995. The shareholders of the bank as  of July 1, 2019 are: SJSC Sacam International (a member of the Credit  Agricole S.A group) - 5% and ACBA Federation CJSC - 95% .
