Mnatsakanyan at a meeting with Minsk mediators emphasized the need to  ensure proportionality of obligations in the peace process

ArmInfo. Armenian Foreign Minister Zohrab Mnatsakanyan held talks with the co-chairs of the OSCE Minsk Group - Igor Popov (Russia), Andrew Chauffer (USA) and  Stefan Visconti (France), who is in Yerevan on a regional visit.

As ArmInfo was informed in the press service of the Ministry of  Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Armenia, the Personal  Representative of the OSCE Chairman-in-Office Andrzej Kasprzyk also  participated in the meeting. During the meeting, the parties touched  upon the discussions held between the Foreign Ministers of Armenia  and Azerbaijan in New York, as well as the processes recorded after  this meeting.  The meeting highlighted the importance of creating an  atmosphere conducive to peace and reducing recent tensions at the  border.

The parties touched upon the positions of the parties in the peace  process, and in this context Mnatsakanyan emphasized the need to  ensure proportionality of obligations in the peace process. The  interlocutors exchanged views on further steps in the format of  co-chairing.

The Armenian Foreign Ministry also recalled that within the framework  of the regional visit, Minsk mediators will also hold meetings with  the authorities of Artsakh and Azerbaijan.
