ArmInfo.A meeting was held under the chairmanship of Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan on the eve of the Ministry of Defense, during which the results of the strategic exercises held from September 24 to October 5 were summed up.

According to the RA Prime Minister's press service, the meeting was  attended by Minister of Defense David Tonoyan, Chief of the General  Staff of the Armed Forces Artak Davtyan, Secretary of the Security  Council Armen Grigoryan, Mayor of Yerevan Hayk Marutyan and senior  officers of the Armed Forces.  In his speech, Prime Minister  Pashinyan said: "Today we are summing up the results of strategic  exercises, and I want to emphasize that the exercises are very  important for us. The real task of the exercises is to answer the  question of how well our armed forces, the system of government and  the public is ready to solve the tasks facing us, and in this regard,  the most important statement that can be made before the official  debriefing is that the society has shown willingness and responded to  the exercises, which is extremely important.

In the end, we had the opportunity to show the importance of the  atmosphere of trust in the country from the point of view of security  and combat readiness of the armed forces. We talked about this for  many years, for a long time we talked as a theoretical phenomenon,  and now in practice we have seen how our society has willingly  reacted. "

The Prime Minister emphasized that during this time the government  has taken and continues to take consistent steps to ensure the supply  of arms and equipment to Armenia in normal mode. According to the  head of government, the exercises received a rather good response  among the military and officers, which became an important experience  for them. "We can state that as a result of these exercises, not only  our general confidence in our forces, our organizational resources  increased, but also the confidence in the composition of the armed  forces, even ordinary personnel, in our forces, in our collective  strength, and this is the most important. Of course, today one of the  most important results of the exercises should be that we will  identify the identified shortcomings and plan our future work in such  a way as to carry out targeted, targeted work in this direction and  raise the level of combat readiness of the aircraft to a new level, "  l Nikol Pashinyan.

The head of government expressed confidence that the results of the  discussion would be useful for the work of the Armed Forces and the  organization of our public administration system and team work of  society as a whole.

During the meeting, the Chief of the General Staff of the Armed  Forces presented a general analysis and the results of the exercises.
