ArmInfo. Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan instructed RA Minister of Labor and Social Affairs Zaruhi Batoyan to present a strategy for the development of the sphere by the end of the year. This was stated during a working meeting in the Government of Armenia, at which the application of the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs of the Republic of Armenia on budgetary contributions for 2020 was discussed.
<When considering budget applications from ministries for 2020, it is necessary to take into account the challenges of 2019 and balance capital expenditures for the next year, "the prime minister said.
The Prime Minister touched upon the ongoing reforms and gave a number of instructions regarding further actions. In particular, speaking about improving the system of benefits, the head of government noted that this system should, whenever possible, encourage work, and it is also important to properly, constantly inform citizens about the opportunities created by the reforms.
In connection with the new centers for the care of children, the Prime Minister, emphasizing that the priority should be to ensure proper education, noted in this context the need for delegation of services to private organizations.
Nikol Pashinyan also instructed to continue work on identifying people receiving "fictitious" benefits, expanding the framework of non-cash pension payments, expanding the use of digital technologies in the social sphere and work, and intensifying towards the effective and targeted implementation of the "Work, Armenia" program.
