ArmInfo.Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, along with his wife Anna Hakobyan and daughters, attended the opening ceremony of the 23rd World Congress on Information Technology, which is being held in Yerevan on October 6-9.
The Prime Minister and his family listened to musical numbers performed by the WCIT World Orchestra, composed of 70 foreign and 30 Armenian musicians. The works of famous Armenian composers Aram Khachatryan, Tigran Mansuryan and others were performed. The orchestra also for the first time in world practice performed a new Armenian spiritual song - a sharakan, which was created using an artificial intelligence program based on an analysis of Armenian sacred music. The work was presented to the orchestra in real time using artificial intelligence and performed by musicians. The concert was led by the artistic director and chief conductor of the State Symphony Orchestra of Armenia Sergey Smbatyan. The orchestra was performed by the world famous DJ Armin van Buuren.
WCIT is the world's largest IT event, which this year is taking place in Armenia. More than 2500 leaders, innovators, politicians, researchers, representatives of art and show business stars from 70 countries take part in the Yerevan Congress.
