ArmInfo. The world order is based on the  multilateralism and cooperation of all members of the world  community. And all countries are obliged to oppose unilateralism in  accordance with their international obligations in order to maintain  peace, security, stability and international order. Iranian President  Hassan Rouhani stated this on October 1 in Yerevan at a meeting of  the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council in an expanded format.

According to the head of the Iranian state, the resistance and  opposition of some countries, including Iran, to hostile and  unilateral actions by the United States led to harsh and inhuman  sanctions. ''In recent years, the United States has harassed many  countries, including Russia, using a unilateral approach, ignoring  international obligations and violating bilateral agreements. We  believe that the international community must counteract the hostile  and unilateral approach of the United States by making serious  decisions and taking effective action.  "US enforcement measures on  using the dollar as a weapon will lead to economic terrorism and are  targeted at the lives of ordinary people," said the Iranian leader.

The implementation of the JCPOA (Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action  on the Iranian Nuclear Program) as an effective measure of  multilateral diplomacy in resolving international issues requires the  full implementation of the mutual obligations of all signatories and  all UN members are committed to supporting and implementing its  provisions. The IRI expects the signatories of the JCPOA to fulfill  it in the current critical circumstances. In addition to the role of  the remaining members of the JCPOA, the support by other countries of  this multilateral achievement is important to maintain and strengthen  regional and international security and stability.

He noted with regret that ''as a result of the destructive actions of  the United States today, we are faced with many problems in the  economic relations of the countries. These are increasing poverty,  insecurity, mass emigration and a slowdown in world economic growth.  And the continuation of such a tense situation will have irreparable  damage. In such an atmosphere of fear and despair in the  international system, we need multilateral regional economic  cooperation in parallel with multilateralism in the international  system''.  Thus, Rouhani emphasized, collective and regional  cooperation in the form of economic commercial and political unions  such as the EAEU, the Organization for Economic Cooperation, the  Shanghai Cooperation Organization, and the Asian Dialogue Forum are  the most important regional economic and political integration tools  supported by the Islamic Republic of Iran. The policy of the Islamic  Republic of Iran is to maintain stability in the region, including  the Persian Gulf and ensure the safety of navigation in the Strait of  Hormuz. ''Recent events have put this security at serious risk.  Security and peace in the Persian Gulf is ensured by the  participation of the countries of the region, and we invite all  countries affected by the events in the Persian Gulf to the  <Coalition of Hope>, to the <Hormuz Peace Initiative>. The purpose of  the coalition is to promote peace, stability, progress for all  residents of the strait, as well as to promote mutual understanding  and peaceful relations between them. This initiative covers various  areas of cooperation in ensuring universal energy security, shipping,  trade in oil and other resources of the Strait countries and beyond,  "the Iranian leader emphasized.
