ArmInfo. Armenian Foreign Minister Zohrab Mnatsakanyan, as part of his visit to New York, continues to hold bilateral meetings on the sidelines of the 74th meeting of the UN General Assembly.
So, the day before, he held talks with Croatian Foreign Minister Gordan Grlic-Radman, emphasizing at the meeting that Armenia attaches importance to developing friendly relations with Croatia. The ministers expressed their mutual readiness to jointly deepen and expand the agenda of bilateral cooperation, including through regular consultations between the foreign affairs agencies of the two countries.
The interlocutors touched upon the Armenia-EU partnership, in this context Mnatsakanyan emphasized the importance of applying the Comprehensive and Enhanced Partnership Agreement between the Republic of Armenia and the European Union, stating that this is an important tool to stimulate the reforms carried out by the Armenian government.
The head of the Armenian Foreign Ministry also held a short meeting with Austrian Foreign Minister Alexander Schallenberg. The interlocutors touched upon the issues of the bilateral and multilateral agenda. Mnatsakanyan held talks with EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Federica Mogeria. The interlocutors discussed Armenia-EU cooperation.
The head of the Armenian Foreign Ministry also met with the Secretary General of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization, Vladimir Norov. The parties exchanged views on the prospects for the development of cooperation between Armenia and the SCO.
