Arthur Davtyan did not comment on possibility of termination of criminal case against David Sanasaryan

ArmInfo. The criminal case with  the indictment in the case of former head of the StateControl Service David Sanasaryan was received by the Prosecutor's Office.

As the Prosecutor General of Armenia noted in an interview with  reporters, Arthur Davtyan, at the moment the prosecutor in charge of  the investigation should carry out all the necessary procedures. "I  will not express my opinion on this case, as this may hamper the  prosecutor in his further actions," Davtyan emphasized.

It should be noted that on September 5, Sanasaryan said that together  with lawyers he decided to subject a motion to terminate the criminal  prosecution against him. The former head of the State Control Service  said that there was no evidence of abuse in the file of criminal  investigation.

To recall, Sanasaryan was charged with abuse of office. As a  preventive measure against him, a recognizance not to leave was  chosen.
