Topic of Armenian Genocide is again in center of verbal duel between  Netanyahu and Erdogan

ArmInfo.  Israeli Prime  Minister Benjamin Netanyahu again accuses Turkish President Recep  Erdogan of slaughtering of Kurds and denying of Armenians massacre.

According to the RiaTaza website, the leaders of Israel and Turkey  again converged on a verbal duel, accusing each other of seizing  territories and killing civilians.  The reason for this was a  statement by Turkish President Recep Erdogan at a session of the UN  General Assembly. According to the source, Erdogan traditionally  spoke of the Israeli occupation of Palestinian lands and reprisals  against the civilian population, calling for an end to the  occupation, restoration of borders before 1967, and return of the  Golan Heights.

In response, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu made a video  message in which he reminded the Turkish counterpart of the many  atrocities of the Turks, including the extermination of Armenians and  Kurds. "Someone who does not stop lying, who slaughters Kurds, who  denies the massacre of the Armenians, should not preach to Israel,"  Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said in response to  Erdogan's speech. 

However, we note that while recognizing the fact of the mass  extermination of Armenians in Ottoman Turkey, Benjamin Netanyahu and  the cabinet of ministers he heads continues to delay the adoption of  a resolution recognizing the Armenian Genocide.
