ArmInfo. Within the framework of the 4th Conference of Speakers of Parliaments of the Eurasian Countries in Nur Sultan, Chairman of the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia Ararat Mirzoyan met with the Head of the Parliament of Moldova Zinaida Greceanii.
According to the press service of the parliament, during the meeting the parties emphasized the importance of friendly relations between the two countries, in the strengthening of which the parliaments play a big role.
Assessing the political and economic ties between Armenia and Moldova, Zinaida Greceanii noted that there are prospects for their development, especially in the field of trade and agriculture. The Moldavian side expressed its sympathy for the values of the "velvet revolution" that took place in Armenia in April 2018, as a result of which political, economic and legal reforms began.
Stressing the historical, political and humanitarian ties between Armenia and Moldova, Ararat Mirzoyan noted the importance of the joint work of the parliamentarians of the two countries, both on bilateral and international platforms. The head of parliament praised the unique role of the Armenian community of Moldova in deepening relations between the two countries.
