Congratulating the people on the holiday, Serzh Sargsyan urged to be  vigilant, "when propagandists of rootless, fake values and ways are  knocking on our doors"

ArmInfo.The third President of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan sent a congratulatory message to the citizens of Armenia on the occasion of Independence Day.  In the message of  Sargsyan, in particular, it says: "I congratulate you on the 28th  anniversary of the Independence of Armenia. This is one of the most  important holidays in our country.

I would like to touch upon the  topic of responsibility and obligations. In this regard, I will quote  the statesman Garegin Nzhdeh :  "Independence, an independent  Fatherland, before being right, is a duty, and those who deviate from  this duty lose their moral right to exist."

Sargsyan emphasized that independence is very specific, it is our  language, our faith, traditional family, culture, that part of the  land that is watered with blood and sweat from the citizens of  Armenia, concluded within the borders of our sovereign state.

"And therefore, it is our duty to protect and protect our values from  all kinds of encroachments, and to be vigilant when propagandists of  rootless, false values and attitudes knock on our doors, preserve the  integrity of our national values, develop, protect them and pass them  on to future generations. Without hesitation, resist all the dangers  that threaten our spiritual and physical security, not allowing any  progress, "said the third president, emphasizing that it is our duty  to the motherland.

The third president emphasized that reality is the most brutal enemy  of propaganda and political myths.  Sargsyan believes that at this  stage <we must separate the falsity from the truth, and not question  the fact of victory in the war for independence, instead of praising  and ennobling the courage of our sons, to value them with dignity,  with dubious goals to start discussions and break the spirit of a  victorious soldier, to consider failures to achieve almost thirty  years of independent statehood, to draw dividing lines in the midst  of his own public is more dangerous than an enemy shot>.
