In his letter to the Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the head of the Kazakh state noted that over the years of independence, Armenia has gone the way of large-scale transformations, having achieved great results in the state building, modernization of the economy and improving the well-being of the people. <I am sure that mutually beneficial cooperation between our states based on a common history and strong bonds of friendship will continue to progressively develop both in the bilateral format and within the framework of the Eurasian Economic Union.

The first president of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Elbasy Nursultan Nazarbayev, also sent a congratulatory message to the Armenian President Armen Sargsyan. In his congratulations, he noted that today Armenia is implementing broad reforms aimed at improving the well-being of the people and creating conditions for sustainable social and economic growth, and is strengthening its authority in the international arena. Elbasy wished the friendly Armenian people peace and prosperity.
