ArmInfo. The EU expressed its readiness to further intensify its assistance to the Government of Armenia in implementing the country's reform agenda, based on mutual obligations under the CEPA (Comprehensive and Enhanced Partnership Agreement between Armenia and the EU).
This was stated by deputy director general of the Directorate General for Neighborhood and Enlargement Negotiations Katarina Mathernova during a meeting with Deputy Prime Minister Mher Grigoryan. According to the press service of the government, Mher Grigoryan, thanking the European Union for the assistance provided to Armenia, stressed that bilateral cooperation is developing dynamically in all directions. Speaking about CEPA, the Deputy Prime Minister noted that at the moment the Armenian side is at the stage of quite flexible and effective application of the roadmap. In addition, Mher Grigoryan presented the process of developing short-term and long-term strategies, emphasizing their importance from the point of view of the country's development.
It should be noted that the CEPA between Armenia and the EU was signed in Brussels on November 24, 2017. The agreement has already been ratified by the Armenian parliament, as well as Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, Bulgaria, Luxembourg, the United Kingdom, Romania, Denmark, Sweden, Finland, Slovenia, Slovakia, the Czech Republic and Malta.
