ArmInfo. Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry condemned the visit of a group of French parliamentarians to Nagorno-Karabakh.
According to Turan, in this regard, the Charge d'Affaires ai of France in Azerbaijan was called to the Foreign Ministry of the country, and a note of protest was addressed to the French side. According to the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the note draws particular attention to the fact that the implementation of such illegal trips seriously undermines the efforts of the OSCE Minsk Group co-chairs, including France, aimed at resolving the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict through negotiations.
In addition, it is detrimental to the authority of France as an intermediary in this process. The Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry called on the French government "to take decisive measures to stop the illegal visits of the parliamentarians of this country to the "occupied territories of Azerbaijan"," and thereby confirm the consistency of its impartial approach as a mediator in the settlement. At the same time, the statement emphasizes that the visit was carried out by "biased and influenced by the Armenian lobby of France" MPs, including Guy Teissier, whose name, due to his previous illegal visits, is already on the list of people who are undesirable for entering Azerbaijan.
]The Foreign Ministry of Azerbaijan informed that Valerie Boyer, Jean-Pierre Cubertafon, Mohamad Laqhila, Daniele Cazarian, Guillaume Kasbarian and Senator Pierre Ouzoulias will also be included in the list.
To recall, the French parliament arrived in Artsakh on September 10, as part of the visit, a meeting was held with the top leadership of the NKR, as well as a meeting of the France-Artsakh friendship Circle.
