ArmInfo. Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan called on citizens of the republic to celebrate Independence Day in Gyumri. "We are meeting in Gyumri on September 21st," he wrote on his Facebook page.
The Prime Minister recalled that since 2019, the main events dedicated to Independence Day will be held in the regions of the republic. The first such event, as Pashinyan noted, will be held on September 21 this of year in Gyumri. "The government apparatus promises to organize unforgettable celebrations," Pashinyan wrote.
In order for the capital of Armenia not to stay away from the festivities and also to have a corresponding appearance, the head of government called on the citizens of the Republic of Armenia to decorate their balconies facing the street with symbols of independence. "There is even an idea to hold a competition for the best building. And the simplest option to give the building a festive look is to hang state flags from windows or balconies," the Prime Minister of Armenia wrote.
