Minister of Territorial Administration and Infrastructures Suren Papikyan at a meeting with Iranian Ambassador to the Republic of Armenia Seyyed Kazem Sajjad, completing his mission in our country, praised the Ambassador's contribution to the development of Armenian-Iranian friendly relations.
As the press service of the Ministry of Territorial Administration told ArmInfo, according to Papikyan, given the many years of cooperation between the two countries and the serious unused potential in bilateral relations, it is necessary to set a higher goal for diversified cooperation between Armenia and Iran. In turn, the diplomat noted with satisfaction that during his stay in our country he was an eyewitness to the stable development of Armenian-Iranian relations in various fields, adding that the Iranian side is interested in expanding the agenda of cooperation with the young and proactive leadership who came to power after the velvet revolution.
The interlocutors exchanged views on strengthening interregional cooperation, deepening cooperation in such areas as tourism, energy, etc., as well as strengthening business contacts.
