It should be noted that the residents of  the village of Archis are not coming to a protest rally for the first  time. The last time, due to lack of drinking water, they blocked the  road Vanadzor-Alaverdi-Bagratashen in July this year Then the  villagers stopped the protest because in the regional administration  of Tavush promised to meet them. According to the head of the  community, Archis David Veranyan, 300 families live in the village,  but there is no drinking water. "There was always such a problem, but  this year the weather was hot and the inhabitants could not stand it.  The only source in the village has such a small capacity that each  family barely gets 20 liters of water. People take turns drawing  water from this spring, which is almost dried up, "he said.
