ArmInfo.An earthquake of magnitude 2.8 occurred 9 km north- east of the Ashotsk village in the Shirak region of the Republic of Armenia.
As ArmInfo was informed in the press service of the Ministry of Emergencies, the hearth lay at a depth of 10 km, the earthquake occurred at 14:20 local time. The underground tremors measured 3-4 magnitudes at the epicenter area. "The earthquake was followed by one underground tremor with a 2.2 magnitude. The earthquake was felt in the village of Bavra, Shirak region, with a 3 magnitudes," the Ministry of Emergency Situations informed.
