In particular, one of the protesters, a member of the Sasna Tsrer party, Gevorg Safaryan, in an interview with reporters, noted that the Investigative Committee is manipulating the data. At present, the Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan is meeting with environmentalists on the issue of Amulsar mine. Prime Minister's Spokesperson Vladimir Karapetyan noted that at the moment Pashinyan is meeting with 10 environmentalists from various organizations. He added that in the near future the press service will disseminate information about the meeting. Although the meeting is being held behind closed doors, it became known that among the invited were activists opposing the exploitation of the Amulsar field, environmentalists, members of the Council of Elders and the mayor of Jermuk, Vayots Dzor region of Armenia, and other interested parties.
To note, on Friday in the city of Jermuk a protest against the operation of the Amulsar mine was held. The protesters demanded a meeting with the Prime Minister of Armenia, however, the meeting did not take place.

Thus, the criminal case instituted more than a year ago is likely to be terminated.
