ArmInfo. From August 14 to August 16, in all regions of the country, the air temperature will gradually increase by 5-6 degrees, Gagik Surenyan, the head of the Arm Hydrometeorological Center of the Ministry of Emergencies of Armenia, wrote about this on his Facebook page.
He noted that another warm air flow is moving from the territory of Iraq to Armenia, which causes an increase in air temperature.
"August 16 will be the hottest day, when in the Ararat Valley, as well as in Yerevan, and in the valleys of Syunik, the air warms up to 38-39 degrees Celsius in the afternoon. And in some lowlands, the air temperature will reach +40 degrees Celsius," Surenyan emphasized. He also noted that over the next 5 days in the valleys and foothills there will remain a high probability of fires.
