The Ombudsman of Armenia receives complaints regarding the procedures of activities the Joint Appeals Commission of Inspection Agencies.  According to  the office of the Ombudsman of the Republic of Armenia, according to  the complaints received, often the person who submitted the complaint  statement is not informed about the content of the decision, which  leads to his expectation of satisfaction of the complaint. 

"Meanwhile, the decision of the appeal commission comes into force  from the day after adoption, while the complainant is presented with  a decision within 3 business days.

In order to guarantee the right to good governance and the principle  of certainty, the Human Rights Defender suggested that in addition to  the final stage of the administrative proceedings instituted by the  appeal commission, there is also the stage of publication of the  decision. He proposes that the commission's decision should enter  into force only after its publication, "the office of the Ombudsman  of the Republic of Armenia informed. The Office added that to  increase the transparency of the commission's activities, it was also  proposed to establish a requirement for online broadcasting of the  appeals commission's sessions, which would increase the level of  objectivity and impartiality decisions of the structure, thereby  strengthening public confidence in the institution of pre-trial  appeal.  The Office of the Ombudsman believes that an exception can  be made if the person filing the application refuses these options.  "The proposals were sent to the RA State Revenue Committee," the  Ombudsman's office informed.
