Pashinyan and Patrushev discuss issues of building up  Russian-Armenian security cooperation

ArmInfo. Security Council  Secretary of Russia Nikolai Patrushev and Armenian Prime Minister  Nikol Pashinyan at a meeting in Yerevan discussed issues of building  up Russian-Armenian security cooperation, as well as providing  humanitarian assistance to the Syrian people and restoring peaceful  life in Syria.

This is stated in the message of the press service of the apparatus of the Security Council of the Russian Federation  following the meeting, TASS reports. "Nikolai Patrushev and Nikol  Pashinyan discussed the issues of building up Russian-Armenian  cooperation in the field of security, economic and investment  cooperation, interaction between the two countries in international  organizations, as well as a number of pressing problems on the  international agenda, in particular, the provision of humanitarian  assistance to the Syrian people and the restoration of peaceful life  in Syria, "the report said.

Earlier, Patrushev, who arrived in Armenia on a two-day visit on  August 12, emphasized the importance of cooperation between the  parties on the topic of information security. The Russian-Armenian  security consultations held in Yerevan discussed the interaction of  the two countries in international organizations, as well as  cooperation in the field of information security.
