Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan arrived in Cholpon-Ata town of the Kyrgyz Republic on the evening of August 8 to participate in the next meeting of the Eurasian Intergovernmental Council. The source recalls that Armenia presides over the EAEU bodies, and on August 9, the Prime Minister of Armenia, as head of the country's presiding bodies in the EAEU, will take part in the next meeting of the Eurasian Intergovernmental Council.
At the Issyk-Kul International Airport, the Prime Minister of Armenia was met by Deputy Prime Minister of the Kyrgyz Republic Zamirbek Askarov.
At a meeting of the Eurasian Intergovernmental Council, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan will make a welcoming speech. A joint statement is planned between the Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia, Nikol Pashinyan, and the Chairman of the Eurasian Economic Commission, Tigran Sargsyan, for media representatives, as well as the signing of documents as part of cooperation in the EAEU and the stamp cancellation ceremony.
Within the framework of the visit, meetings are scheduled between the Prime Minister of Armenia and President of the Kyrgyz Republic Sooronbay Jeenbekov and Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Dmitry Medvedev.
Nikol Pashinyan, together with the Prime Ministers of the EAEU Member States, will also take part in the opening of the annual international music festival "Tengri Music Fest - 2019" .
