ArmInfo. The strengthening of the Armenian-Italian educational contacts, the development of new projects and the effective implementation of existing ones were discussed during the meeting by Deputy Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sports Arevik Anapiosyan and Italian Ambassador to Armenia Vincenzo Del Monaco.
As ArmInfo was informed in the Ministry of Education, the Italian diplomat emphasized that it is important for Rome to strengthen relations between the peoples of Armenia and Italy, because, in the end, the projects that they intend to implement are not for governments, but for young people and their future. At the meeting, the possibility of participation of Armenian schoolchildren in Italian exhibitions held in Armenia was discussed.
"We want our children to have in-depth knowledge not only about Armenian culture, but also the opportunity to get acquainted with foreign culture. Exhibitions dedicated to Italian culture in Armenia can serve as an excellent platform for realizing this goal," the Deputy Minister emphasized.
During the meeting, the parties also discussed the possibility of applying the experience of Italy in the tourism sector for the development of tourism in Armenia through the exchange of specialists and training programs.
