ArmInfo.Ameriabank has become an innovative partner of the most anticipated startup ecosystem event, the Sevan Startup Summit, which ran from July 28 to August 3. As part of the Firecode Marathone competition, first organized by the summit,  the bank also sponsored the Ameriabank Challenge competition for  marathon participants.

The results of the competition were summed up  at the summit closing ceremonies, as a result of which two startups  who presented the best innovative solutions - Virtlo and X-Tech  received prizes of $ 1,000 and $ 2,000.   During the 7-day intensive summit program, Ameriabank was actively  involved in Camp Fire Talk, where representatives of the bank  communicated with the start-ups on the topic "Electronic commerce in  business" and "How UX can kill", and participated as mentors in the  session one to one. Shavarsh Voskanyan, head of IT department of  Ameriabank, noted that the bank attaches particular importance to the  continuous organization of such events in Armenia. "Such sites  provide an opportunity for young people to present their innovative  ideas in the business environment and to receive constructive  recommendations for enhancing their competitive advantages and  further development," he said. In turn, Hakob Hakobyan, the founder  of the Startup Armenia Foundation, stressed:  "We are very pleased  that one of the leading financial institutions of Armenia,  Ameriabank, joined the summit as an innovative partner. Thanks to our  partners, this event became possible, and their presence inspires us  to hold new events and initiatives." 

According to the report, the Sevan Startup Summit is held for the  fourth year in a row on the shores of Lake Sevan, organized by the  Foundation . Of the over 1000 applications submitted  from the wounded countries, 120 startups were selected. During the  summit, the participants presented their start-up ideas and received  constructive advice on the development and improvement of their  start-ups, as well as established links with successful businessmen.  

Recall that Ameriabank, operating on the Armenian market since  October 31, 1996, is a universal bank providing investment, corporate  and retail banking services in the form of a comprehensive package of  banking solutions.
