''According to the information received, an Armenian, who is a citizen of the Russian Federation, E.A. born in 1980 (registered in the city of Volgograd) and his two children (born in 2010 and 2015) were injured. The injured citizens were taken to Apanasenkovsky district hospital of the Stavropol region. The Consulate General of Armenia in Rostov-on-Don is in touch with the local Armenian community, for possible support for the injured, "the report says.
To note, the Sunlong Bus collided with a Renault truck on Friday around 02.30am at the 420th kilometer of the Astrakhan-Elista-Stavropol highway. Initially, the traffic police reported that the bus drove on the oncoming lane. But later the traffic police stated that they found the DVR in the bus, and the record shows that it was the truck that went to the "oncoming traffic". According to preliminary information of the traffic police, the driver of the truck fell asleep at the wheel. As a result of an accident, according to the authorities of the region, 5 people were killed, 19 injured, of whom 15 were hospitalized.
