The commander of a military unit charged with theft of fuel on a  large scale

ArmInfo. The commander of the military unit, Colonel Armenak Sukiasyan is accused of embezzling diesel fuel on a large scale. This is reported on the portal of the  judicial information system.

The prosecution was charged for the fact  that Armenak Sukiasyan, being an official, using his official  position, by prior agreement with a group of persons, organized  embezzlement on a particularly large scale (24 tons of diesel fuel)  in the amount of 8,856,000 drams and prompted the commanders of the  specified anti-aircraft missile division of lieutenant colonel Armen  Bakhshyan, Khosrov Chobanyan and Argam Harutyunyan by making  knowingly false entries in the working protocols to falsify official  documents.

The head of the fuel and lubricant service of the same military unit,  Major Armenak Sargsyan, was charged (part 1 of clause 3 of Article  179) for being an official, using his official position, by prior  agreement with a group of individuals -A. Sukiasyan, A. Bakhshyan, H.  Chobanyan, A. Harutyunyan and together with Senior Ensign E.  Gevorkyan, as well as with the assistance of the privateK. Sargsyan  and Sergeant G.  Arzumanyan carried out the theft of fuel on a  particularly large scale.As a measure of restraint, a subscription on  his own recognizance was chosen.
