ArmInfo.The President will visit a number of historical and cultural sites,  in the village of Dsegh visited the house- museum of Hovhannes  Tumanyan, and in Ahnidzor he visited the paternal house of Hrant  Matevosyan.  

President Sarkissian also visited the Vanadzor  Technology Center and manufacturing enterprises.  The President also  visited ''Vaba'' company, specialized in production and installation  of anti-hail nets.  Accompanied by the company's director Armen  Gharadyan, Sarkissian familiarized himself with the production  facilities, technologies and products used.  It was noted that the  plant is equipped with Italian equipment, using high-quality Italian  raw materials and technology.

Produced nets protect the crop not only from hail, but also birds,  insects, and are also able to protect against temperature changes.

Presenting the production volumes, programs for expansion and export,  the company representatives also noted that there is still a problem  in the Armenian market in sales of products, as well as the need for  subsidies.

Answering journalists' questions, the President noted that the  plant's products should be viewed not only as an anti-hail net, but  also as a comprehensive protection of gardens.

''This is a modern technology that is used worldwide. The nets not  only protect against hail, but also create an appropriate  microclimate. Modern production has been set up, which can also  export products, but it is a pity not to use in Armenia, especially  in the south, starting from the Ararat Valley, where gardens need  protection'', Sarkissian said adding that the use of local production  should be stipulated, which is important for the farms themselves. At  the same time, he expressed readiness to assist the company whenever  possible.  As part of his visit, Sarkissian also visited the  Gulagarak community and the kindergarten of the community, which in  December 2018 was allocated 1 million drams from the Presidential  Administration for the purchase of furniture.  Sarkissian also  visited the Lori Fortress, which is considered one of the most famous  monuments of medieval architecture in the region.  President  Sarkissian said that the Lori Fortress is an attractive place for  tourism, and especially for the development of archaeological,  historical and ecological tourism.  In an interview with journalists,  Armen Sarkissian noted that although during his presidency he had  visited Lori for the first time, he had often been here before,  especially during his student years, and these places were among the  most beloved ones. ''There are few places in the world where  fortresses of the 10th and 11th centuries are preserved. And not only  the fortress survived, but we can get acquainted with the religious  and way of life of that time'', Sarkissian said.  He called the  fortress impressive not only as historical value, but also as an  original and beautiful recreation area.  According to the President,  this monument is not only tremendous historical but also economic  value and just tourist property. Here you can develop historical  tourism, and organize cultural events. The President of the Republic  discussed this topic with Lori governor Andrei Ghukasyan, concerning  the opportunities and prospects for the development of the region as  a whole.
