ArmInfo.Members of the Knesset, representatives of religious communities and the Israeli police apologized to the Jerusalem Patriarchate of the Armenian Apostolic Church (AAC) for the incident fight with ultra-orthodoxies. This was announced on his page on Facebook with the representative of the Jerusalem Patriarchate of the Armenian Apostolic Church, Archimandrite Hovnan Baghdasaryan.
"During the visit, representatives of the Israeli side apologized for the fight that took place on June 8 by ultra-Orthodox Jews with students of the Armenian Theological Seminary," wrote Baghdasaryan, noting that Knesset member Yitzhak Pindrus ("Jewish Torah), Rabbi David Rosen, officers participated in the meeting, Israeli Police, Director of the Intercultural Center and others.
It should be noted that information was spread in the Israeli media that allegedly in Jerusalem two Jews were beaten by disciples of an Armenian religious institution (60 people). The report claimed that the seminary mentors ordered to stop the beating only after the Jews were seriously injured. The AAC has refuted this information by presenting its version of the incident. In this regard, the Israeli police conducted an investigation, and found that the instigators of the fight were not Armenian seminarians, but ultra- Orthodox Jews.
