As a result of the measures taken by the staff of the General Directorate on Combating Organized Crime of the RA Police, two residents of Yerevan (born in 1992 and born in 1996) were brought to prison on July 12, 2019.
During a personal search, in a bag of a 27-year-old man, 5 plastic bags were found 0.45 g of, 0.67 g, 0.43 g, 0.42 g and 0.45 g, content in the form of crystal powder , another 11 packets containing the yellow- greenish substance - 10.27 g.
In addition, in the car, which was used by the man, 2 more packets with crystalline masses weighing 0.44 grams and 0.69 grams were found.
On this fact, a criminal case was initiated at the police station of the Shengavit administrative district under paragraph 2 of part 3 of article 266 and part 3 of article 268 of the RA Criminal Code, which was sent to the investigative department of the administrative district of Shengavit and taken into production. 27-year- old man arrested.
In order to clarify the circumstances that are essential for the criminal case, a forensic chemical and toxic chemical analysis was appointed.
During the forensic chemical examination, it became clear that the crystalline substance in the packets is a narcotic drug <methamphetamine>, and the yellow-green mass - <marijuana>.
On the basis of sufficient evidence obtained, a 27-year-old resident of Yerevan is charged under paragraph 2 of part 3 of article 266 of the RA Criminal Code.
The investigator submitted to the court a petition for election in respect of the detained measure of restraint in the form of detention.
The petition was granted.
The necessary investigative steps are being taken to find out the source of the purchase of drugs and to ensure a comprehensive, objective and complete investigation.
