ArmInfo. Armenia and China introduce a visa-free regime between themselves. At the July 11 meeting, the RA government approved the draft of the relevant agreement for ratification, which will be sent to the RA National Assembly in the established manner.
According to Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Armenia Artak Apitonyan, the agreement was signed on May 26, 2019 during the visit to the People's Republic of China of the RA government delegation headed by Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan. The Deputy Minister stressed that recently there has been a positive dynamic in the development of bilateral relations in the political, economic and cultural spheres. The parties declared their readiness to develop these relations by signing an agreement allowing citizens of two countries with ordinary passports and without visas to stay in each other's territory for 90 days. The agreement's ratification, the deputy minister continued, will provide an opportunity to increase bilateral trade and economic ties and increase tourist flow.
