ArmInfo.On July 9, RA Justice Minister Rustam Badasyan received Council of Europe experts led by Natalia Voutova, Head of the Council of Europe Office in Armenia. It is reported by the press service of the Ministry of Justice.
According to the source, the Minister stressed the importance of meeting with representatives of this expert group and presented to European partners the priorities of the Ministry of Justice, in particular, in the judicial and anti-corruption sphere, stressing that conceptual approaches to developing a strategy for judicial reform will also be discussed with representatives of civil society.
The meeting touched upon the grounds for initiating disciplinary proceedings against a judge, the tools of the Anti-Corruption Committee and a number of other issues.
It should be noted that over the next two days, the leadership of the Ministry of Justice will continue to work with high-ranking European experts to prepare a roadmap for judicial reforms.
