ArmInfo. Armenian President Armen Sarkissian assured during his meeting with the residents of the Karahunj community of the Syunik region of Armenia that he works within the framework of the current Constitution of the Republic.
Thus, when asked whether the president has enough authority under the current Constitution, Sarkissian, in particular, said: "Regardless of the job description, the person holding this or that position determines the result. No matter how much authority he has, if he works well "It's good, if the work is done poorly, it's bad. I'm trying to put into the president's work an essence that, in my opinion, is correct. I work within the framework of the Constitution, I don't go over the line."
At the same time, the head of the Armenian state assured that much can be done in the framework of these powers. Sarkissian expressed the conviction that, having great responsibility and opportunities, one can do nothing, and vice versa, have one tool and use it. "You don't need to think about what tool you have, it's important to reach the goal, and my goal is simple, so that the country flourishes, the children are joyful and I made a small contribution within my capabilities," the President said, adding that Armenia has a bright future.
