


ArmInfo. Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan expressed condolences to the families of victims in terrible car accident in Ararat region of Armenia.
"I am shocked by the news of the tragic car accident in Ararat Marz. I express my deepest condolences to the families, relatives and friends of the victims. I wish the injured a speedy recovery", the message reads.
On July 6, as a result of an accident at Zod Bridge in the Ararat region of Armenia, six people were killed and another 12 were injured. According to reports of official bodies, six burnt bodies were found at the scene of an accident. According to preliminary information, three cars collided on the bridge, including a minibus, a fire occurred. According to the Minister of Healthcare of Armenia Arsen Torosyan, the condition of one of the 12 victims is assessed as extremely grave, and another as grave. According to the minister, four of the victims have already been discharged from the medical facility after providing them with medical care. a criminal case was initiated in the Ararat regional investigation department on grounds of part 3 of article 242 of the RA Criminal Code (violation of the rules of the road and vehicle operation, which resulted in the death of two or more people by negligence). A preliminary investigation is underway. In connection with the tragic accident in the Ararat region, Armenian President Armen Sarkissian has already expressed his condolences.
