ArmInfo. The government of Armenia will send 68 million drams to the development of design and estimate documentation for the program of capital repairs and modernization of a number of higher educational institutions of the republic. The decision was taken at a meeting of the Cabinet on July 4.
As RA Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sport noted, Araik Harutyunyan, after the development of the necessary documentation, 1.7 billion drams will be sent to the construction works. The project envisages the creation of a Center for Excellence in the Agricultural Engineering Laboratory at the Agararn University, to carry out repair work at the Avan Training Center, Armenian University of Physical Culture and Sports, Yerevan State Conservatory and Goris State University.
In addition, the government approved a program to overhaul buildings of a number of state colleges in the country, to which 843 million drams will be allocated, another 21.7 million drams will be used in the implementation of the program of overhauling three sports schools in the republic.
