Nikol Pashinyan congratulated Donald Trump on Independence Day

According to the press service of the RA government, the message of  the Armenian Prime Minister, in particular, states: "I cordially  congratulate you and the friendly people of the United States of  America on this day. The declaration of independence of the USA had a  great influence on the further process of world history, becoming a  source of inspiration for many nations striving for freedom and  democracy. Proud that the Armenian diaspora of the United States has  made its unique contribution to the development and prosperity of the  United States, acting as an important bridge connecting our two of  the people. "

The message also notes that unprecedented changes took place in  Armenia over the past year. Democracy has been restored in the  country, restrictions on freedom of speech have been excluded. By  holding free and transparent elections, a new government has been  formed, which is taking decisive steps towards the establishment of  the rule of law and the consolidation of democratic achievements.  "Today, our priorities are the reforms of the judicial system and the  fight against corruption. We value the financial and technical  assistance provided by the United States to Armenia since the country  gained independence. This assistance has always been important for  the development of the country.
